HAVOC’s Xyon & Oddyssey Become New AJPW World Tag Team Champions

New All Japan Pro-Wrestling World Tag Team Champions were crowned as Xyon and Oddyssey dethroned Hideki Suzuki & Kengo Mashimo on Sept. 23rd at GIANT DREAM 2025 in front of 1,750 fans at Arena Tachikawa Tachihi.

Suzuki and Mashimo were making their first defense of the world titles which unfortunately turned into their last defense as the massive team of Xyon & Oddyssey proved to be too much for the now former champions.

With their titles on the line, Suzuki and Mashimo fought valiantly but it was an Oddyssey Tornado Sidewalk Slam followed by a top rope diving headbutt by Xyon onto Suzuki that ended the match at the 17:06 mark. Suzuki and Mashimo’s reign as champions lasted only 51 days.

Xyon and Oddyssey were joined by fellow HAVOC faction member Shotaro Ashino during their post match celebration.

The new champions almost immediately found out who their first challengers will be as the newly formed team of Yuma Aoyagi and Yuma Anzai came down to the ring to confront Xyon and Oddyssey.

After a few words were exchanged, all four shook hands which indicated the challenge by Aoyagi & Anzai had been accepted by Xyon & Oddyessy.

As of this writing, a title match between the new champions Xyon & Oddyssey against the challenge of Yuma Aoyagi & Yuma Anzai has not yet been made official. An official announcement from AJPW is expected in a few days.
