Inside a stunned York Hall, London, the Great O-Khan captured the Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship, at the Revolution Pro Wrestling Uprising event.
Originally slated to face reigning champion Ricky Knight Jr., O-Khan ended up going up against Zak Knight, Ricky’s uncle, after the champion sustained an injury in the run-up to the show.
Despite not actually defending the title himself, Knight Jr. finds himself without the championship he took from Will Ospreay at RevPro’s Ten Year Anniversary earlier this year.
O-Khan’s victory came on a good night for the United Empire, as IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay also returned to RevPro to beat Tomohiro Ishii in the main event. The show’s closing image was Ospreay and O-Khan holding their championships aloft, flanked by Gideon Grey.

O-Khan now holds the title that New Japan Pro Wrestling names such as Katsuyori Shibata, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Zack Sabre Jr. have previously held.
It was a monumental night for the Great O-Khan, as he picked up his first singles title in the promotion where he went on excursion, just a few years ago.
‘The Dominator’ becomes the fifth Japanese holder of the championship, after Minoru Suzuki, Tomohiro Ishii, Shibata and Tanahashi.
We don’t know where O-Khan or the Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship will go next, but we do know that the title has been heavily featured on NJPW before.
