Giulia To Defend STRONG Women’s Title Against Ami Sohrei

“God’s Chosen Big Girl” has stepped up to challenge the NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion for her championship.

After Giulia suffered a very unfortunate and very fast loss to the “High-Speed Bomb Girl” AZM in just 55 seconds in their block match as part of the 5★STAR GP, Ami Sohrei took the opportunity to come out and challenge the champion for a title match.

Ami Sohrei is currently on a three-match losing streak in this year’s edition of the 5★STAR GP, having lost to Suzu Suuzki, Tam Nakano, and Mayu Iwatani; her last win was against Starlight Kid.

With luck not going her way in the round robin tournament, could Sohrei fare better against the NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion? Giulia and Sohrei have only faced each other once in the past, with Giulia getting the win over the God’s Eye member in last year’s 5★STAR.

The match is set for STARDOM’s Korakuen Hall show on October 1st.
