The GHC National Champion Galeno headed into Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Sunny Voyage 2025 event on Oct. 4th to make his fourth defense of his title against former champion Jack Morris. There were 407 fans in attendance at Lives NAGOYA to witness the championship defense made by Galeno.
Morris had a good bit of momentum going into his title opportunity as he defeated Galeno on Sept. 21st to advance to the N-1 VICTORY 2025 finals. The former champion was poised and confident about regaining the GHC National Title on Oct. 4th but Galeno had other plans.
While the bout was evenly fought with numerous near falls, it was Galeno who was able to pull out victory in just under 20 minutes when he connected with his Galeno Special on Morris to end the bout and retain his championship belt.
Following Galeno’s victory, Dragon Bane came to the ring and issued a challenge to him for the GHC National Title. Galeno accepted and the two sealed the deal with a handshake. The match was made official by Pro Wrestling NOAH for Oct. 16th at STAR NAVIGATION 2025.

Both Galeno and Dragon Bane made post-match backstage comments. Bane took a shot at Galeno and indicated that he feels he is superior to the current GHC National Champion.
Bane made a statement earlier in the evening when he pinned former GHC National Champion Tetsuya Endo in a six man tag team match.
From Galeno:
“I’m a little tired. Thank you, Morris. I respect you. Maybe Jack Morris and Galeno could work together someday? Dragon Bane, see you again.” (via Google Translate)
From Dragon Bane:
“Galeno, everyone here and I respect you. But I believe I am superior to you. To prove that, may I be your next challenger for the GHC National Championship? Let’s make history together as Mexicans.” (via Google Translate)
Two WWE NXT stars faced off inside a Pro Wrestling NOAH ring as Charlie Dempsey went one on one with Harlem Lewis. Both Dempsey and Lewis were making their NOAH debuts. While Dempsey has competed for AJPW in the past, this was Harlem Lewis’ first match ever in Japan.

Dempsey proved to be the superior NXT star on Oct. 4th as he forced Lewis to tap out with a Shelf Stretch. The two shook hands following the bout as Lewis looked very disappointed for being on the losing end of the match.
Dempsey and Lewis will team up on Oct. 11 at NOAH Wrestle Odyssey against Ulka Sasaki & Jack Morris.
