Full Results From ZERO1 Fire Festival 2026 Day 4 in Osaka

By: Ian McCord

On July 4th, the fourth day of Pro Wrestling ZERO1’s Fire Festival 2026 took place at Azalea Taisho Hall in Osaka, with four tournament matches featured on the card.

Fire Festival action continued in the fourth match of the show, with ZERO1 World Heavyweight Champion Junya Matsunaga facing off against Ryunosuke Nagai for Block A. Matsunaga was able to walk away with the quick victory following his Bee Sting finisher in just under four and a half minutes, moving the champion to five points and into first place in Block A. Matsunaga’s time-limit draw with Kuma Arashi in his first match of the tournament puts the champion at a bit of a disadvantage, making the remainder of his Fire Festival matches must win if he hopes to make it into the finals.

Next up for Block A was Shuji Ishikawa defeating Kuma Arashi with a Backdrop Suplex in (12:23). The victory puts Ishikawa at four points, tied with Masato Tanaka for second place in Block A.

In the semi-main event of the evening, Koji Doi picked up the surprise victory over last year’s Fire Festival winner Hayabusa. Doi used his Murderer Lariat to secure the win at (15:47). The win puts Doi in first place in Block B after defeating Hayabusa. Not much time for celebration for Koji Doi, as he is set to compete in his next Fire Festival match on July 5th facing off against Daichi Hashimoto.

Hayabusa, who has been very vocal about his ambitions of winning the Fire Festival for a 2nd time, took to social media following the loss. Hayabusa shared his thoughts on the match with Koji Doi and how he can’t afford to lose any more matches if he hopes to make it to the tournament finals.

From Hayabusa via X:

“My first match against Koji Doi. He was far faster, bigger, and stronger than I’d imagined. That final lariat had me thinking my neck was going to snap. It’s frustrating, but I was completely outclassed today. With this, my record at #FireFestival2026 is now 1 win and 1 loss. To advance to the finals, I can’t afford to lose a single match from here on out. I just need to reset my mindset and focus on the next match.”

The main event of the evening saw Katsuhiko Nakajima pick up his first win of the tournament, defeating Yuko Miyamoto in (16:23) with his signature Northern Lights Bomb for the pinfall victory. This puts Nakajima in 2nd place of Block B with Hayabusa.

ZERO1’s Fire Festival 2026 returns on July 5th at KBS Hall in Kyoto, featuring four more tournament matches, including Masato Tanaka vs. Shuji Ishikawa.
