Full Results for Marigold DREAM★STAR GP 2025 Night Event For Aug. 2 Plus Updated Block Standings

The second event of the Marigold DREAM★STAR GP 2025 tournament took place on Aug. 2nd at the Osaka Edion Arena #2 with an evening show. There were 601 fans on hand at the Osaka Edion Arena #2 but unlike the DREAM★STAR GP 2025 day show, the night event was not a sell out.

The featured bout saw the current Marigold Super Flyweight Champion Mayu Iwatani square off against Marigold rising superstar Seri Yamaoka. This was the first singles bout between Iwatani and Yamaoka.

In what has to be considered a stunning upset, Yamaoka pinned Iwatani to earn her fourth point of the tournament. This was the first time Iwatani has suffered a pinfall loss since she became a member of the Marigold roster.

Yamaoka had these post match comments following her tremendous victory:

“Facing Mayu Iwatani was incredibly pressured, and I desperately wanted to win, so I’m really glad I kept pushing and never gave up until the very end today.”

In other tournament action, Utami Hayashishita bounced back after being defeated by Victoria Yuzuki in the day event by emerging victorious over Rea Seto and earned her first two points.

In addition, MIRAI battled Miku Aono to a 15:00 minute time limit draw.
