Full Matchcard for Sareee’s Return Show Announced

It was nearly two months ago that we had finally received confirmation about Sareee’s future, and that future leads her to Japan once again. On May 16th at Shinjuku FACE, “The Sun Goddess” returns to in-ring action with the first in a series of shows called Sareee-ISM.

I will show the world the pro wrestling I have always believed in and love.

Conveniently promoted by a highlight reel of a tag team match from 2019 featuring her and Syuri against Takumi Iroha and current IWGP Women’s Champion Mayu Iwatani, the show will be a celebration of professional wrestling through the vision of the DIANA homegrown, featuring remarkable young talent and legendary veterans from across the joshi scene. The card is as follows:

1 – Singles match with a 10-minute time limit:

Riko Kaiju vs Yurika Oka

2 – Tag team match with a 20-minute time limit:

AKARI & Arisa Nakajima vs Ibuki Hoshi & Miyuki Takase

3 – Tag team match with a 30-minute time limit:

Jaguar Yokota & Nanae Takahashi vs Kaoru Ito & a surprise partner

MAIN EVENT – Singles match with a 30-minute time limit:

Sareee vs Chihiro Hashimoto

With Sareee taking on one of her toughest rivals in her career, she wants her comeback match to be a fight and kickstart this new era of her career with peak determination. The clips selected for this show’s promotional video are likely not just for marketing, as Sareee has been very explicit in her quest for the IWGP Women’s Championship, believing she embodies “Fighting Spirit” just like her idol, Antonio Inoki.
