Former WWE NXT Star Cal Bloom F.K.A. Von Wagner Set To Make AJPW Debut

Former WWE NXT star Cal Bloom F.K.A. Von Wagner is set to make his debut for All Japan Pro-Wrestling as announced today during the Royal Road Tournament Finals at Korakuen Hall.

A vignette was played today during the event which showed HAVOC members Shotaro Ashino, Xyon and Oddyssey having dinner. Xyon was on the phone when he stated that HAVOC needs you to the person he was talking too. We found out that the person on the other of the phone was Cal Bloom. Bloom told Xyon he will see them all soon which confirmed that Bloom will be joining HAVOC.

Bloom will be making his AJPW debut on Oct. 22nd at the RAISING AN ARMY MEMORIAL SERIES 2026 inside the confines of Korakuen Hall. An opponent has not yet been named for Bloom but it’s a good bet he will be participating in a tag team bout with other members of the HAVOC faction.

Bloom, who is the son of former AWA World Tag Team Champion and former WWE star Wayne Bloom, spent six years with the WWE NXT brand. He began his WWE career as Cal Bloom and underwent a name change in Sept. 2021 when became Von Wagner. He was released from the WWE in April 2024 and has been wrestling on the indy circuit ever since.

Bloom will be joining two other former WWE stars in Xyon and Oddyssey as well as AJPW star Shotaro Ashino as the fourth member of the AJPW faction HAVOC.
