DDT Pro-Wrestling’s biggest event of the year, WRESTLE PETER PAN 2025, is set to take place across two days on August 30th & 31st. This is only the second time that WRESTLE PETER PAN will be a two night event since it’s 2009 inception. The last two day event occurred in June 2020.
Day 1 will take place at Tokyo Higashin Arena Main Arena while Day 2 will be held at the famed Korakuen Hall.
DDT Pro has revealed the first matches for WRESTLE PETER PAN 2025.
The main event of Day 1 will be a KO-D Openweight Title match between the current champion Kazusada Higuchi and pro wrestling legend Jun Akiyama. Akiyama challenged Higuchi on July 13th following Higuchi successful title defense against HARASHIMA. Akiyama clotheslined Higuchi as they were shaking hands which led to the championship match being made official for Aug. 30th.
In, what is being called a dream match, the current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr will team with Kosei Fujita as they face former two time KO-D Openweight Champion Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada.
Rookie Hinata Kasai is set to make his pro-wrestling debut against an unknown opponent.
On Day 2, the winner of the KO-D Openweight Title bout between Higuchi & Akiyama will put the title on the line against the winner of the July 16th Battle Royal at Shinjuku.
Minoru Suzuki defends his DDT Universal Title against MAO and NJPW legend Hiroshi Tanahashi faces Danshoku Dino.
