After terrorizing promotions like Pro Wrestling NOAH and New Japan Pro Wrestling for decades, Minoru Suzuki’s faction disbanded in recent memory. Still, as we all know, the returning Davey Boy Smith Jr. was a key player in 2015’s Suzuki-gun, and he’s now returning to All Japan Pro Wrestling to reunite with his former leader. In All Japan’s Yoyogi show to say goodbye to 2023, Davey will show the Japanese fans the importance and prestige of his lineage.

Like New Japan’s Ren Narita, Suzuki and Davey will be accompanied by Real World Tag League winner, Hokuto Omori, as he’s seemingly learning under Suzuki’s wing. Omori will have a great lesson from former Suzuki-gun allies, and he will be able to bring a new level of violence to his in-ring skills. Davey will also have the chance to show he has not missed a step since winning the GHC Tag Team Championship alongside Lance Archer for NOAH. An uncommon Suzuki-gun reunion that sets the pace for All Japan’s 2024.
