On Dec. 21st, Big Japan Pro-Wrestling held it’s OSAKA SURPRISE 82 ~ BIG THANKSGIVING FESTIVAL 2025 at a sold out 176BOX in Osaka.
The featured bout was a BJW World Strong Heavyweight Title match as the current champion Daimonji So of the Yosomono faction made his second defense against the challenge of Yasufumi Nakanoue.
Nakanoue was looking to regain the title he last held back in Sept. 2021 but Daimonji So had no intention of being dethroned. It took nearly twenty minutes but Daimonji So was able to defeat Nakanoue after hitting his devastating Black Rain finisher.
Daimonji So has held the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Title since Oct. 13th when he defeated Daichi Hashimoto for the coveted belt.
It was a successful night once again for all the members of Yosomono as Minoru Fujita & Jacob Crane engaged in a Yosomono vs. BJW bout against Kankuro Hoshino & Ryuma Sekimo. Fujita & Crane emerged victorious as Fujita ended the match at the 12:11 mark following an Ankle Lock on Sekimo.
In other action, Abdullah Kobayashi outlasted seventeen other competitors as he won the BJW Super Battle Royal. The Battle Royal came down to Kobayashi and Kota Sekifuda. Kobayashi finished off Sekifuda with a Gennosuke Clutch to emerge as the winner of the Battle Royal.
