Chika vs. Matoi Hamabe Set for Sendai Girls Jaja Uma Tournament Finals

By: Noah Leatherland

Sendai Girls were back in the Sendai PIT, with the semi-finals of the Jaja Uma Tournament taking place. SENJO is set to host a final pitting Pro Wrestling Evolution and STARDOM talent against each other, with Chika and Matoi Hamabe advancing.

In the semi-finals, Chika came up against Marvelous’ Sora Ayame. Chika made fairly quick work of her smaller opponent, gaining the win in just about six and a half minutes. The pinfall came after Chika crushed Ayame with a diving senton, securing her spot in the tournament finals. Then, Hamabe came up against one of Chika’s Pro Wrestling Evolution contemporaries, Soy. The STARDOM star had a much more even fight, eventually defeating Soy with a sunset flip pin.

Posting on social media, Chika shared her determination to win the tournament.

We won the semi-finals!

Ayame Sora really beat up my shins, and it hurt like crazy, but landing that senton from second rope for the first time and winning made me so happy

We’ve made it this far. All that’s left is the finals!
We have no choice but to win the championship!! Actually, we’re going to win it!
We’re going to win the championship!
