On Jan. 11th, Sendai Girls Pro-Wrestling held it’s latest event at Shinkiba 1st RING in Tokyo with a line-up of five big bouts.
The main event featured a clash of pro-wrestling powerhouses as the current Sendai Girls World Champion Chihiro Hashimoto squared off against STARDOM’s Saya Iida in a non-title match-up.
As expected this was an evenly matched hard hitting affair as both stars showed off their power and athletic abilities throughout the bout. Both competitors left it all in the ring in this thriller but in the end it was Hashimoto who proved to be the better wrestler on this occasion.
Hashimoto hit one of her patented Power Bombs on Iida and ended the bout at the 15:24 mark. Both stars expressed their respect for one another following the match.

Hashimoto took the mic and addressed the crowd with a passionate speech about her goals for Sendai Girls in the future.
From Chihiro Hashimoto:
“My goal, the Nippon Budokan, is something I want to achieve next year! To make that happen, I want to fill every venue – Shin-Kiba, Shinjuku FACE, Sendai PIT, Osaka, Korakuen Hall, Xebio Arena, Sendai Sunplaza Hall… and take all of you with me to the Nippon Budokan! So, please continue to believe in Sendai Girls and Chihiro Hashimoto, and support us for another year! Thank you so much for today!”
The Sendai Girls Tag Team Champions Yurika Oka & Mio Momono were challenged by DASH Chisako & Hiroyo Matsumoto after they won their non-title bout against VENY & YUNA. The two teams will meet on Feb. 8th for the Sendai Girls Tag Team Titles.
