Aya Sakura Sets Sights on HANAKO & Future of Stardom Title at New Blood 29

While HANAKO faced Akira Kurogane in the main event of STARDOM New Blood 29, a new challenger emerged for her Future of Stardom title. Current New Blood Tag Team champion Aya Sakura emerged and laid out a challenge for HANAKO’s championship.

HANAKO came into New Blood 29 having wrestled to a tag team time limit draw the previous night, whilst Kurogane was coming off of a loss to Xena. Both wrestlers were looking to get back to winning ways, but it was HANAKO that secured the win, landing the JP Coaster for a pinfall. After the match, Aya Sakura appeared. Although she has an upcoming match with Maki Itoh at STARDOM Supreme Fight on the horizon, Sakura made her championship intentions known:

I’ve always, always wanted the Future belt the most! But, I’m sorry, I’m busy with ‘Kawaii’ right now! However, on the 7th, you have your unit battle and I have the ‘Kawaii of Kawaii’ title match. Let’s both win our matches, and then, as the ‘Kawaii of Kawaii’ champion, I’ll come challenge you for that Future belt, so just you wait!

HANAKO accepted Sakura’s challenge, and raised the stakes even more:

Fine, let’s make it a double title match for ‘Kawaii of Kawaii’ and the Future belt! But if you lose to me, you’re banned from ever calling yourself ‘kawaii’ again for the rest of your life! Ah, be prepared!
