The NJPW STRONG Women’s Title was on the line at Pro Wrestling EVE’s biggest ever event. Alex Windsor was named as Syuri’s challenger back at NJPW The New Beginning USA, and won the purple belt in her home country.
This was Windsor’s second time challenging for the belt, having previously attempted to take it from Stephanie Vaquer. Windsor had also unsuccessfully challenged Syuri for the IWGP Women’s Championship last year. However, the Brit found some success in the indigo at The O2.
Defeating Syuri, Windsor now becomes the 8th woman to hold the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship.
There was other joshi talent on the WRESTLE QUEENDOM card. Miyu Yamashita and DASH Chisako competed in a rumble-like Sudden Death 16 match, which also saw a return to the ring from Yuu. AZM picked up a win over British standout Safire Reed.
