AJPW World Tag Team Champions Xyon & Oddyssey Defense Against Yuma Aoyagi & Yuma Anzai Made Official

The current All Japan Pro-Wrestling World Tag Team Champions Xyon & Oddyssey, members of the HAVOC faction, officially have their first title defense set.

AJPW announced that Xyon & Oddyssey will defend their championship belts against Yuma Aoyagi & Yuma Anzai on Oct. 11th at Gyoda Green Arena. The match will be part of the AJPW 53rd Anniversary tour and is expected to be a very competitive bout for the World Tag Team Titles.

Xyon and Oddyssey won the titles back on Sept. 23rd when they defeated Hideki Suzuki & Kengo Mashimo at AJPW GIANT DREAM 2025. Immediately following their championship victory, Yuma Anzai & Yuma Aoyagi, who joined forces at GIANT DREAM 2025, confronted the new champions and issued their challenge. The HAVOC duo accepted the challenge which led to AJPW making the bout official.

With the AJPW Real World Tag League coming up, Xyon & Oddyssey would like nothing more than to enter the tournament as the AJPW World Tag Team Champions. They need to get past Yuma Aoyagi & Yuma Anzai first on Oct. 11th and that will not be an easy task for the former WWE NXT stars.

Yuma Anzai took to x and had these comments concerning the upcoming title match:

The World Tag Team Championship match has been decided! I know the champions are big and strong, but with Aoyagi-san, it feels like we can turn anything around. Let’s win the world tag team title belt for the first time!” (via Google Translate)

Another title match announced for Oct. 11th is an AJPW Jr Heavyweight Title bout as the Atsuki Aoyagi will defend his title against Ryo Inoue.
