AJPW Star Yuma Anzai Is Set To Make His Debut For Dragongate On Sept. 24th, Issues Comment On His Upcoming Debut

All Japan Pro-Wrestling superstar Yuma Anzai made his return to in-ring action on Sept. 15th at the AJPW Royal Road Tournament finals after a lengthy hiatus from pro wrestling. Anzai teamed with Jun Saito & Rising HAYATO as they defeated the trio of Suwama, Dan Tamura & Naoya Nomura in his first match back.

Fresh off his return, Anzai will get to test his skills inside a Dragongate ring for the first time in his career. Anzai will participate at the Dragongate THE GATE OF MIYANE 2025 event on Sept. 24th at Korakuen Hall.

Anzai is set to team with Homare as the face the Gajadokuro duo of the Open The Dream Gate Champion Madoka Kikuta & One Third of the Open The Triangle Gate Champions Yoshiki Kato.

Anzai took to X and posted his excitement about making his debut for Dragongate on Sept. 24th.

From Yuma Anzai:

I will be participating in The Gate of Miyane produced by Seiji Miyane. My opponent is Madoka Kikuta, whom I lost to in this year’s Chankan. My tag partner is player Homare. I’ll be showcasing Yuma Anzai to DRAGONGATE for the first time.

Kikuta won the Open The Dream Gate Championship from Shun Skywalker on Aug. 17th with an upcoming title defense against Ben-K on Oct. 8th. It could get interesting if Anzai can score a victory in the tag match on Sept. 24th against Kikuta as he could then make a case for an Open The Dream Gate Title shot.

Anzai has represented AJPW inside a Pro Wrestling NOAH & DDT Pro-Wrestling ring and now on Sept. 24th he will be able to add Dragongate to that list of promotions he has competed for.
