You are 18 years old, what led you to making the decision to join Marigold?
Yuuka Yamazaki:
I felt it was still an unfinished organization, and I wanted to build it into a major group with our own efforts.
Monthly Puroresu:
What do you remember about your first meeting with Rossy Ogawa? Was there any nervousness on your part?
Yuuka Yamazaki:
I was so nervous I couldn’t talk much, so I don’t remember much. lol.
Monthly Puroresu:
When you began training, how did you find it? Was it difficult at first or did you take to it right away?
Yuuka Yamazaki:
Rather than being difficult, I was just excited to experience pro wrestling firsthand, so I got used to it quickly.

Monthly Puroresu:
At what point did you feel you were ready for your debut match and why did you choose MIRAI as your first opponent back in June 2025?
Yuuka Yamazaki:
I was attending pro wrestling school, so even before joining the group, I was always thinking, “I’m ready to debut anytime!” I felt our wrestling styles were a perfect match!
Monthly Puroresu:
How do you feel you have grown as a pro-wrestler since your debut?
Yuuka Yamazaki:
I can’t honestly say I’ve grown yet, so I want to keep gaining experience and grow from here on out!
Monthly Puroresu:
Being a pro-wrestler, you are on the road traveling and competing in various cities. Have you gotten used to being on the road?

I’ve gotten used to it! I love getting to try local cuisine every time we tour.
Monthly Puroresu:
At Marigold New Years Golden Garden 2026, Nagisa Tachibana defeated you on Feb. 7th and then you defeated her on Feb. 8th. Has your rivalry with Tachibana deepened at all?

Yuuka Yamazaki:
It has! I think we’re pretty evenly matched now, so I want to overtake her quickly and establish myself as clearly superior.
Monthly Puroresu:
Following your match with Misa Matsui, you had some very harsh words for her, what are your feelings toward Matsui and will we see you back in the ring with her soon in a singles?
Yuuka Yamazaki:
I dislike heels because they use dirty tricks. I don’t know when we’ll rematch, but I’ll win fair and square.
Monthly Puroresu:
You have had success with the trio team of you, Seri Yamaoka and SYOKO Koshino in pursuit of the Marigold 3D Trios Titles. Why do you feel there is excellent chemistry among the three of you?
Yuuka Yamazaki:
Seri and I are classmates, and Shoko-san and I are from the same hometown. I think our chemistry is really great.
