The Marigold DREAM★STAR GP 2026 came to an electrifying end on Sept. 20th at Korakuen Hall. The finals were contested by two of Marigold young stars who have developed quite a rivalry. It was the Marigold United National Champion Victoria Yuzuki who defeated Rea Seto in a terrific tournament finals to claim victory and win this year’s DREAM★STAR GP.

Marigold owner Rossy Ogawa, who was quite pleased with the tournament this year, took to X and pointed out that Marigold is in the dawn of a new era with multiple young stars who are on the rise within the promotion. Ogawa stated that Marigold could be heading into a golden age for the promotion with all the young stars within it’s ranks. He also mentioned that he hopes Mayu Iwatani and Miku Aono will continue to lead Marigold and guide all the young talent.
From Rossy Ogawa:
The dawn of a new era… The DREAM✴︎STAR GP 2026 came to a close with Victoria Yuzuki taking the championship. With runner-up Rea Seto, Kouki Amarei and Yuuka Yamazaki—who advanced to the final tournament—as well as Komomo Minami, Seri Yamaoka, Kizuna Tanaka, Nagisa Tachibana, and Kouki rising to prominence, this new era could very well become a golden age. Given the level of excitement, everyone must have been captivated by Yuzuki and Rea. To make that happen, I hope Mayu Iwatani and Miku Aono will continue to lead the team. Come to think of it, Misa Matsui is surprisingly young, too. (Translated with DeepL.com)
With all the young talent currently in Marigold that continue to show immense potential and many who are beginning to realize that potential, Rossy Ogawa has got to be excited about the future of Marigold as the best is yet to come for the promotion.
