Eight Competitors Advance To Marigold DREAM STAR GP Quarterfinals as Group Stage Concludes

The Marigold DREAM★STAR GP 2026 which began on Aug. 28th with twenty-four hopeful participants has dwindled down to eight competitors who remain in contention to win this year’s tournament.

On Sept. 19th, Marigold took the tournament to Korakuen Hall with the last night of the group stage matches scheduled and the fans were to find out who advances to the quarterfinals. The first and second place finishers of each of the four respective blocks would stave off elimination and move on to the next round.

When all was said and done, the eight competitors that advanced to the quarterfinals are as follows:

• Miku Aono (Block A)
• Yuuka Yamazaki (Block A)
• Mayu Iwatani (Block B)
• CHIAKI (Block B)
• Victoria Yuzuki (Block C)
• Diana Strong (Block C)
• Kouki Amarei (Block D)
• Rea Seto (Block D)

The quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be contested in Korakuen Hall on Sept. 20th to determine who will be crowned the winner of the Marigold DREAM★STAR GP 2026 tournament. The winner will earn a shot at the current Marigold World Champion Miku Aono. If Aono wins the tournament, it will be two years in a row she has won the Marigold DREAM★STAR GP and she will nominate her next opponent.

Here are quarterfinal and potential semifinal matchups set for Sept. 20th in Korakuen Hall:

• DREAM★STAR GP – Quarter Final: Miku Aono vs. Diana Strong
• DREAM★STAR GP – Quarter Final: Mayu Iwatani vs. Rea Seto
• DREAM★STAR GP – Quarter Final: Victoria Yuzuki vs. Yuuka Yamazaki
• DREAM★STAR GP – Quarter Final: Kouki Amarei vs. CHIAKI
• DREAM★STAR GP – Semi Final: Aono/Strong Winner vs. Iwatani/Seto Winner
  
• DREAM★STAR GP – Semi Final: Yuzuki/Yamazaki Winner vs. Amarei/CHIAKI Winner
