Full Card Announced for TJPW Wrestle Princess VII on October 3rd

TJPW Wrestle Princess VII is on the horizon, and the promotion have confirmed the full card for October 3rd. While a quartet of title matches tops the billing, there are plenty of exciting names and bouts appearing on the undercard.

The main event will see Suzume reap the rewards of winning this year’s Tokyo Princess Cup, as she challenges Yuki Arai for the Princess of Princess Championship. Already holding the International Princess Championship, Suzume could end up walking out of Wrestle Princess VII holding two belts. Arai has held the top prize in TJPW since March, with Suzume set to be her fifth defence.

The Princess Tag Titles will be on the line as Rika Tatsumi and Miu Watanabe defend against Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro. Daydream have held the tag belts since May, having made two successful defences since then. Aino & Kazashiro recently won a multi-tag scramble to earn a shot at the belts. This will be their second time challenging this year, having tried to take the belts from Ober Eats back in January.

A pair of title matches involving partner promotions will also take place at TJPW Wrestle Princess VII. Miyu Yamashita will defend UK promotion Pro Wrestling EVE’s International Title against Arisu Endo. Plus, Shoko Nakajima will defend Thai promotion SETUP’s All Asia Women’s Championship against Zara Zakher. The match marks Zakher’s return to TJPW, last seen at last year’s Las Vegas event.

A legend is set to grace the TJPW ring as Jushin Thunder Liger makes an appearance as a special guest referee. He will officiate a singles encounter between Mizuki and Hyper Misao.

VENYU will reunite for the final time, with VENY making an appearance to team with Yuki Kamifuku before the latter hangs up her boots later this year. They will face the team of Toga and Kamifuku’s Ober Eats partner, Wakana Uehara.

The event will also see the in-ring debut of the newest TJPW rookie, Chieri Sakimori. Sakimori will team with Momo Sato and Shion Kanzaki to take on Shino Suzuki, HIMAWARI and Mifu Ashida.
