Korakuen Hall is arguably the epicentre of the puroresu scene in Tokyo and beyond. Having been hosting pro wrestling and boxing events since the 1960s, Korakuen Hall is set to undergo renovations at the start of 2027.
As reported by Weekly Pro Wrestling, renovations at Korakuen Hall will begin at the end of January 2027, just after the rush of events surrounding January 4th. The venue will reportedly be available for a few select dates in February and March, but it will be totally unavailable throughout April. Then, Korakuen Hall is scheduled to be fully open once again from the beginning of May.

Korakuen Hall is a regular haunt for many promotions in the Japanese scene, as well as a number of produce events. The renovations are sure to have an impact on a number of promotion’s schedules, but the relatively quick turnaround should hopefully soften the hit.
