Since July 2026, there has been a Pro Wrestling NOAH invasion of GLEAT which has been led by Atsushi Kotege.
Kotege has guided Team NOAH to victory over numerous GLEAT teams. Kotege and Team NOAH have been dominant over their GLEAT counterparts for over the past two months.
The feud took a serious turn on Aug. 3rd when Kotege pinned the current G-Rex Champion El Lindaman in a six man tag team bout that resulted in another victory for Team NOAH.
Immediately after the win, Kotege challenged Lindaman for his title but one of Lindaman’s partners, Takehiro Yamamura, stepped up and said Kotege would have to get through him first.
On Aug. 30th, Kotege defeated Yamamura in a tough bout to earn his shot at GLEAT’s top championship. Kotege was confronted by the G-Rex Champion El Lindaman after his victory over Yamamura.
GLEAT quickly confirmed that El Lindaman will defend the G-Rex Championship on Oct. 9 against Kotege at Korakuen Hall.

During their backstage post-match interviews, Kotege vowed to win the G-Rex belt and bring it back to NOAH. Lindaman asked Kotege to bring his best so he could defeat him in his strongest form.
From Atsushi Kotege:
“Well, I’ve already achieved the ambition I sought in the ring. A title match has been set. I think I understand the value of the GLEAT belt. So I’m going to win it and return to NOAH. That’s my goal.”
From El Lindaman:
“I was surprised to see him so full of energy on the mic after a match like that. We know firsthand just how great TEAM NOAH is. Show up as the very best Atsushi Kotoge and stand before G-REX Champion El Lindaman. Only by defeating the very best Atsushi Kotoge can I prove I’m El Lindaman. I’m looking forward to it.”
The NOAH vs. GLEAT feud has definitely intensified and it will all play out on Oct. 9 when El Lindaman attempts to prevent Atsushi Kotege from bringing the G-Rex Championship back to Pro Wrestling NOAH.
