Miyu Yamashita Retains Pro Wrestling EVE International Title, Attacked by Marina Shafir

With all eyes on London fall All In weekend, Pro Wrestling EVE hosted EVE 153: EVE x The World 2. With joshi representatives across the card, the main event saw TJPW’s Miyu Yamashita retain the International Title against Kay Lee Ray, only to be attacked by Marina Shafir.

In a night where much of the card was a mystery, the first-time clash between Yamashita and Ray was the main draw of the evening. The two’s battle almost hit the 30 minute time limit, only for Yamashita to land a Skull Kick to the back of Ray’s head, laying her out for a pinfall. In a chaotic end to the night, Yamashita’s celebrations were first interrupted by newly crowned EVE Champion, Kris Statlander. Statlander and Ray then got into it, allowing Marina Shafir to slide in and attack Yamashita, holding up the International Title, clearly looking to challenge Yamashita in the near future.

The newest additions to the Sendai Girls Dojo, Anita Vaughan and Safire Reed, were both in action. They formed a quartet with Hollie Barlow and Maya World, scoring a victory over Alexxis Falcon, Cory Zero, JGU and Rhio.

STARDOM was represented by one third of the Artist of Stardom Champions, Skye Blue. Blue competed in a hardcore three-way to crown the inaugural Spirit of EVE Champion against Lucy Deathmatch and Emersyn Jayne. Blue ended up coated in crimson, even getting her own blood all over the STARDOM belt as she used it as a weapon. However, Blue would be the victim of the deciding fall, as Deathmatch pinned her off a splash through a table.

Then, Marvelous were represented by Nightshade and Nyla Rose as they defended the AAAW Tag Team Titles. They came up against the duo of Skye Smitson and Violet Nyte, managing to retain their hardware in their first defence after winning the belts in May.
