HAYATA Becomes Inaugural GHC200 Champion & Kai Fujimura Wins GHC Jr. Heavyweight Championship

On August 10th, Pro Wrestling NOAH’s second day of its doubleheader at Korakuen Hall took place, with three Championship matches set for the card.

The first of three title matches took place in the seventh bout of the evening, with Tetsuya Endo and HAYATA battling to crown the inaugural GHC200 Champion. The two White Raven Squad stablemates had 200 seconds on the clock to score the victory and win the new stylish green belt. It would be HAYATA who would beat the clock and Endo in (1:47) with his Headache finisher to become the inaugural champion. After the match, HAYATA named Katsumi Inahata as the first challenger for his newly won title.

Next up was the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title match with champions Dragon Bane and Alejandro defending against Atsushi Kotoge and Hi69. The challengers brought the fight to the masked duo in champions fifth defense of the titles. However, it would be Alejandro picking up the win for his team in just under 22 minutes after hitting a Super Rana onto Hi69 for the 3-count.

The main event of the evening saw the GHC Jr Heavyweight Championship showdown between Eita and Kai Fujimura. The champion, Eita, came into the match ready for war following his preview tag match the day prior. Eita and Daiki Odashima brought the fight to Fujimura and Jun Masaoka all around Korakuen and the match eventually ended with Eita getting disqualified.

During the championship match on August 10th, TEAM 2000X and the stable’s newest member, YO-HEY, made their presence felt at ringside. The constant interference assisted Fujimura in ending Eita’s 52-day reign as champion. After planting the champion with his Death Hanger finisher, Fujimura was able to score the pinfall victory and capture the championship.

Following the match, Alejandro and Dragon Bane played spoiler on a TEAM 2000X  beatdown to Eita and Daiki Odashima. Alejandro would issue a challenge to his former partner for a shot at his newly won championship, which Fujimura seemingly accepted.

• Yoshiki Inamura, Kazuyuki Fujita, Katsumi Inahata & Hiroto Tsuruya defeat Manabu Soya, Yuki Iino, Super Crazy & Yuto Koyanagi (6:51) after Inamura hits a Muso on Koyanagi.
• OZAWA, Alpha Wolf, and Jun Masaoka defeated KENTA, Shane Haste, and Midori Takahashi (7:56) after OZAWA hit a Swan-Dive Moonsault Press on Takahashi.
• Tetsuya Naito, BUSHI, and RYUSEI defeated Kaito Kiyomiya, Kid Lykos I, and Kid Lykos II (7:11) when Naito pinned Lykos II following a Combined Bomb.
• Tadasuke defeated YO-HEY (8:26) by DQ.
• 1st GHC200 Title Tournament – Final: HAYATA defeats Tetsuya Endo (1:47) with the Headache – title change.
• GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title: Dragon Bane & Alejandro (c) defeat Atsushi Kotoge & Hi69 (21:36) after a Super Rana by Alejandro against Hi69 (5th defense).
• GHC Jr. Heavyweight Title: Kai Fujimura defeats Eita (c) (21:29) with the Death Hanger—title change.
