Akira Kurogane Vows To Crush The Competition In The STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2026 Tournament

The STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2026 Tournament is now only three days away until it gets underway and the fans are buzzing with excitement. The first set of Block matches will take place on July 18th at the Ota City General Gymnasium with numerous sections sold out for the event.

One of the STARDOM’s rising stars Akira Kurogane will be participating in her first 5★STAR GP tournament. Kurogane earned her spot in the tournament when she defeated Kiyoka Kotatsu in a qualifying match on July 11th.

Kurogane has been placed in the tough Red Stars A Block which includes AZM, Maika & Sayaka Kurara.

During the 5★STAR GP 2026 press conference, which was on July 12th in Tokyo, Kurogane was given the opportunity to comment on the tournament and she didn’t hold back. The young star vowed to crush everyone in this year’s 5★STAR GP.

From Akira Kurogane:

“I’m Akira Kurogane. I won the preliminary round yesterday, and I am a newcomer to this tournament. I have no intention of making this 5★STAR easy for anyone. I’ll crush everyone, that’s all!”

Last year, Kurogane lost to Yuria Hime in a 5★STAR GP qualifying match which left her extremely disappointed. That disappointment is long gone as the rising star will get to showcase her skills against the very best beginning in less than 72 hours.

Kurogane’s first tournament match will be on July 18th and it will be a tough test against former World of STARDOM Sayaka Kurara.
