Unfortunate news comes from NJPW regarding Shota Umino and the G1 Climax. After being assessed by medical staff, Umino has been diagnosed with a concussion and has been withdrawn from the remainder of the G1 Climax.
Umino faced Zack Sabre Jr. in a losing effort at the opening night of the G1 Climax in Chicago, IL. As a result of Umino’s withdrawal, he will forfeit his remaining matches in B Block, giving them each 2 points. NJPW have announced that upcoming cards will be adjusted in light of Umino’s absence.
Everyone here at Monthly Puroresu wishes Shota Umino a speedy recovery.
