Tiger Mask IV Set for One More Match in the USA at PRODUCE: Volume 3

Having said his farewells and had his retirement ceremony in front of New Japan fans, Tiger Mask IV has been announced for one more appearance in the United States. At PRODUCE: Volume 3 – Azucar, the legend will team with the Dynamite Kid to take on Black Tiger IV and Black Tiger IX.

At Tiger Mask’s retirement event in Korakuen Hall, he had two quick exhibition matches with ‘Dynamite Kid’ Tommy Billington and Black Tiger IV. There has been an outpouring of love for Tiger Mask IV ever since he announced his retirement last July, from fans and fellow wrestlers alike. Now, American fans have the chance to bid farewell to the man that has been performing under the Tiger Mask moniker the longest.

The event is a show co-produced by Rocky Romero, the man under the Black Tiger IV hood and longtime rival of Tiger Mask IV. As a key player in the international wrestling scene, Romero’s produced event will see stars from the United States, Mexico and Japan do battle. Other matches confirmed for the event include:

• Rocky Romero vs. Mistico
• Josh Barnett vs. ‘The Butcher’ Andy Williams
• Persephone vs. Skadi
• Tim Bosby vs. Karl Malenko
• Fuwa-chan, Hazuki & Ranna Yagami vs. Nixi XS, Janai Kai & Jordan Blade

PRODUCE: Volume 3 – Azucar takes place on August 3rd at the Pioneer Works in Brooklyn, New York.
