Earlier this week, Pro Wrestling ZERO1 announced that Chris Vice has been forced to withdraw from this year’s Fire Festival due to injury and is expected to be out of action for the next three to four months.
The Promotion took to social media to post an injury update, stating that Vice has sustained torn ankle ligaments and a fractured fibula. The post also included comments from the two-time ZERO1 World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Vice.
From Chris Vice:
“It is truly disappointing that I cannot participate in the Fire Festival, but once I am able to walk without crutches to some extent, I believe it will be possible for me to come and cheer from outside the ring or visit the venue, even if I cannot compete. I hope to make arrangements regarding that matter. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Moving forward, I will follow my doctor’s instructions and do my best to return as soon as possible.”
