On May 23rd, Pro Wrestling NOAH’s NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE 2026 is set to begin at KBS Hall in Kyoto. In one of the featured bouts of the evening, GHC Tag Team Champions Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI will take on Masa Kitamiya and Takashi Sugiura.
After defeating Masa Kitamiya and Jun Masaoka on May 17th in Nagoya, Tetsuya Naito shared how he continues to feel fulfilled wrestling for NOAH and has fun every time he steps in the ring. Naito also shared that he and BUSHI plan to go undefeated and win the whole tournament.
From Tetsuya Naito:
“Like I said yesterday, ever since I started stepping into this Pro Wrestling NOAH ring, I’ve felt a real sense of fulfillment every single day. Maybe that’s why I was super excited to come here to Lives NAGOYA today—I came here with a real buzz of anticipation. I had a blast in the match, too. I really savored every moment of wrestling in this ring while having fun. Now, the Tag League starts this weekend, right? As the reigning GHC Tag Team Champions, BUSHI and I are, of course, entered in the tournament. Winning the tournament? That goes without saying. We’re aiming for an undefeated championship run, of course. Please be sure to keep an eye on BUSHI and my matches. Well then, let’s meet again on Saturday at the Kyoto KBS Hall for the Tag League opener. Adios.”

Los Tranquilos de Japon have their work cut out for them in A Block, competing against Lykos Gym, The Good Brothers, Kaito Kiyomiya and Harutoki, and TEAM 2000X’s Masa Kitamiya and Takashi Sugiura.
If Naito’s prediction of a perfect run comes true, he and BUSHI will compete in the Finals of the NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE on June 16th in Korakuen Hall.
