On May 13th, GHC Heavyweight Champion Shane Haste made good on his promise to have KENTA translate his victory speech when he defeated his White Raven Squad stablemate at NOAH LEGACY RISE 2026 in front of 1,165 Fans at Korakuen Hall.
After winning the GHC Heavyweight Championship from Yoshiki Inamura on May 2nd at NOAH SPRING MAYHEM RYOGOKU 2026, Shane Haste would nominate KENTA as the first challenger for his newly won title.
As expected KENTA and Haste gave everything they had in the main event on May 13th, with KENTA at points looking like he was going to leave Korakuen with the GHC Heavyweight championship. Haste would ultimately secure the victory after hitting his Bomb Valley Death finishing move on KENTA at (28:39) to secure his first successful defense of the championship.
After the match, White Raven Squad member Tetsuya Endo, who was present at ringside, stepped up to challenge Haste for a shot at the GHC Heavyweight Championship, with a match being made official for June 25th at Korakuen Hall.
Elsewhere on the card, Tiger Mask and KENOH defeated Naomichi Marufuji and Alejandro in a special tag team match, and OZAWA picked up the victory against former GHC Heavyweight Champion Yoshiki Inamura with a surprise roll up in the semi-main event of the evening.
