Sayaka Kurara Felt Hurt Due To Mixed Reactions of Her Main Eventing STARDOM ALL STAR GRAND QUEENDOM 2026

On April 26th, COSMIC ANGELS unit member Sayaka Kurara shocked the pro-wrestling world when she ended the 483 day World of STARDOM Championship reign of Saya Kamitani.

While the 25 year old Sayaka Kurara scored a massive upset at ALL STAR GRAND QUEENDOM 2026 in front of over 8,000 fans, there were many people who were second-guessing whether Kurara should have been the one challenging Kamitani for the Red Belt.

While speaking with the press, Kurara revealed that she was hurt a bit emotionally due to this.

From Sayaka Kurara:

“I thought, ‘Well, that makes sense.’ While I felt confident in the fact that I achieved something everyone thought was ‘too soon’ and managed to reach the challenge… it did hurt a little.”

In addition, Kurara stated she wants to surpass Saya Kamitani and intends to win numerous year end awards.

“I want to become an existence that spreads the word that a STARDOM with a pro wrestler named Sayaka Kurara in it is truly amazing, and I want to surpass Saya Kamitani. I intend to win the Rookie of the Year, the Women’s Pro Wrestling Award, and the MVP!”

Sayaka Kurara’s first defense of the World of STARDOM Championship is set for May 23rd at STARDOM QUEENS DYNASTY 2026 as she will face the challenge of Maki Itoh.
