Talos Scores Huge Win Over Kento Miyahara At Champion Carnival 2026 Tournament on April 26th

By: Lewis Carlan

The All Japan Pro-Wrestling Champion Carnival 2026 is in full swing as the tournament made its way to the Sanjo City Public Welfare Hall on April 26th with 728 fans in attendance.

The main event featured Block A action as the current Triple Crown Champion Kento Miyahara faced one half of the AJPW World Tag Team Champions Talos. This was a rematch of their Jan. 25th Triple Crown Title bout in which Miyahara successfully defended his title against the seven foot tall Talos.

Talos apparently had Miyahara better scouted this time around as he was able to score a big victory over the current Triple Crown Champion. Talos was able to hit a huge chokeslam that was good enough for the pinfall victory over Miyahara. When the referee counted to three, much of the crowd let out a huge gasp as they weren’t expecting that outcome.

The victory raised Talos’ Block A point total to 4 while Miyahara remained at 5. Talos addressed the Sanjo City Public Welfare Hall crowd after his big win:

In other action, Daisuke Sekimoto continued impressive tournament performance as he defeated Xyon to raise his Block B point total to 8. Sekimoto currently has the most points out of all the Champion Carnival 2026 competitors.
