Strong Style Powerhouse Daisuke Sekimoto Turns Into A Cherry Blossom?!?

Strong Style wrestler Daisuke Sekimoto has been placing fear into his opponents for over 20 years. The former BJW star now freelancer Sekimoto competed on the March 21st Shawn Capture The Land Of Connections ~ Masuda 2026 event in Shimane with over 500 fans in attendance.

Sekimoto participated in a big six man tag team bout as he teamed with Minoru Suzuki & Naruki Doi to take on Ikuto Hidaka, Minoru Fujita & Yasufumi Nakanoue. Sekimoto, Suzuki & Doi emerged victorious over their opponents in a bout that last nearly 20 minutes.

The following day, Sekimoto posted on X that he arrived back safely from Shimane and went straight to…….get some soft serve ice cream. With the ice cream cone nearly disappearing in his huge hands, he asked the person he was with to snap a picture as he appeared very proud to be holding the tasty soft serve treat.

The picture was taken but the individual who took the shot became creative and edited in a Cherry Blossom flower around the head of Sekimoto. Sekimoto light-heartedly indicated on X that he had become a Cherry Blossom.

“Sekimoto has returned safely from Shimane! Thank you to everyone in Shimane! Straight to the soft-serve ice cream! When I asked someone to take my picture, they turned me into a cherry blossom! It’s spring!”

Daisuke Sekimoto may very well be the only person in the history of Puroresu to have teamed with the legendary Minoru Suzuki and Naruki Doi one night and then the very next day turn into a Cherry Blossom. One thing is certain, that ice cream he is about to devour in the picture looks absolutely delicious. It’s a treat that is well deserved by Daisuke Sekimoto.
