On March 12, 2007, BUSHI, then known as T28, began his career as a pro-wrestler for All Japan Pro-Wrestling in a losing effort to Nobukazu Hirai.
After 5 years, BUSHI made his debut for New Japan Pro-Wrestling in May 2012. He is best known for the 12 years he spent with NJPW and was a member of the faction Los Ingobernables de Japon with Tetsuya Naito, Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Takagi & Yota Tsuji as well as other past members.
Now currently a freelancer, BUSHI formed Los Tranquilos de Japon with Tetsuya Naito after the two departed NJPW back in May 2025.
BUSHI & Naito have enjoyed success in their freelance careers as they are currently the GHC Tag Team Champions for Pro Wrestling NOAH.
As BUSHI celebrated his 19th anniversary as a pro-wrestler, he took to X and revealed that he is happier now as pro-wrestler than he has ever been before.
From BUSHI:
“Nineteen years since my debut. I never imagined I’d be able to wrestle this long. I’m happier now than ever before! I’ll keep living each day to the fullest.” (Translated via Deepl.com)
BUSHI celebrated his 19th anniversary as a pro- wrestler with a cake he was very proud of.
BUSHI & Tetsuya Naito are scheduled to defend their GHC Tag Team Championship against Manabu Soya & Shuji Konda at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s LETHAL ODYSSEY TOUR 2026.
