Yoshiki Inamura Defeats KENOH To Retain GHC Heavyweight Championship In Yokohama

On March 8th Pro Wrestling NOAH returned to the Yokohama Budokan for their APEX CONQUEST 2026 in YOKOHAMA event with 1,904 fans in attendance. 3 title matches took place in Yokohama with the headliner being Yoshiki Inamura defending his GHC Heavyweight Championship against former 4 time champion KENOH. 

In an extremely hard-hitting match up, Yoshiki Inamura was finally able to defeat KENOH in one on one competition for the first time in his career to retain his GHC Heavyweight Championship. 

After the match, Inamura stated that he wanted to defend his championship against someone who has WWE experience. KENTA then appeared to let the champion know that he was going to be adding a new member to his Unit, White Raven Squad, that has WWE experience to challenge Inamura for his championship. 

Team 2000X members Yoshi Tatsu and Alpha Wolf then appeared to attack KENTA and throw out a challenge for Alpha Wolf to take on Inamura for his GHC Heavyweight Championship. 

During Inamura’s post-match comments he thanked KENOH for their match and also accepted both KENTA and Alpha Wolfs challenges stating:

“Mr. KENOH, thank you so much. And Mr. Yoshi Tatsu. I’m sorry. That’s the only word I can find. Alpha Wolf is a wonderful wrestler. I wanted to fight him again. Mr. KENTA, sorry, but taking out the troublesome opponents first is my policy. After I take down Alpha Wolf, I’m looking forward to fighting your friend.”
