Shinjuku FACE Rumored to be Closing Later This Year

The Tokyo wrestling and MMA venue Shinjuku FACE is rumored to be closing later this year. Though there has been no official statement from the venue itself, sources claim that the venue will close its doors in the fall.

The news comes from KAKUTOLOG on X, a headline that is sure to upset pro wrestling fans and promotions alike. Shinjuku FACE has been hosting pro wrestling events since the mid-2000s and has become a staple of the Tokyo wrestling scene. So far in 2026, the venue has hosted the likes of STARDOM, Marigold, Pro Wrestling NOAH, TJPW, DDT, Sendai Girls, ZERO1 and more. The venue’s closure is sure to have a big impact on a number of promotions.

At time of writing, the schedule on the venue’s website lists events going into May.
