Marigold United National Champion Victoria Yuzuki Vows To Destroy Chika Goto On Feb. 23rd at Korakuen Hall

On Feb. 23rd, Marigold will present the latest event of its current MARIGOLD New Year Golden Garden 2026 tour at the famed Korakuen Hall.

One of the featured bouts will see the Marigold United National Champion Victoria Yuzuki make her fourth defense of the title as she faces challenger Chika Goto.

Goto had been pushing relentlessly for a title shot against Yuzuki over the past few weeks and the champion had been reluctant to grant Goto the opportunity she desired. Yuzuki made note of this during a recent press conference to promote the event:

The two stars got into an altercation during the press conference as the temperature reached a boiling point between the two.

Following the press conference, Yuzuki, who was still seemingly enraged, took to X and vowed to completely destroy Chika Goto when they meet for the Marigold United National Title on Feb. 23rd.

Chika Goto, for her part, also took to X and indicated that all that matters to her is that she beats Yuzuki. Goto stated that she is not going to let this championship opportunity slip away from her.

Yuzuki has faced Goto twice in singles matches since the inception of Marigold. The first match between the two was back on June 1st 2024 and ended in a draw. Yuzuki scored a win over Goto on Sept.16 2024 at the Marigold Dream Star Grand Prix 2024 tournament.

One thing is certain, fans can expect a war on Feb. 23rd at Korakuen Hall when Victoria Yuzuki defends her Marigold United National Title against Chika Goto.
