Miku Aono Unleashes A Fiery Statement On X Aimed At CHIAKI Following Incident At Press Conference

Marigold held a press conference today for their upcoming Feb. 23rd New Year’s Golden Garden 2026 event set for Korakuen Hall. One of the featured bouts scheduled is a singles clash between Marigold World Champion Miku Aono & CHIAKI in what was suppose to be a non-title bout.

CHIAKI, who has been attempting to force Aono to put her title on the line, was present at the press conference and spoke while curiously holding a scissor.

Everyone watching the press conference soon found out what the purpose of the scissor was as CHIAKI and her Darkness Revolution unit members attacked Aono. As Rea Seto, Misa Matsui and Nagisa Nozaki held Aono, CHIAKI proceeded to cut the champions hair in an attempt to humiliate her.

An enraged Aono then agreed to put her Marigold World Title on the line on Feb. 23rd against CHIAKI with the stipulation that CHIAKI must cut off all her hair if she loses. CHIAKI confidently agreed to the stipulation.

Aono took to X today following the press conference and released a fiery statement aimed at CHIAKI.

This is the first time I’ve ever felt nothing but pure rage welling up inside me. I couldn’t care less about CHIAKI’s hair, but if that’s her resolve, then let’s see just how much it’s worth. Do whatever you want, talk all the big talk you want, but when you lose, it won’t just be your hair you lose. (Translated via Deepl)

Marigold quickly made the bout official as on Feb. 23rd at Korakuen Hall, Miku Aono will face CHIAKI in a World Title vs. Hair match.
