Starlight Kid Praises Kikyo Furusawa As The Rookie Shines In Their Singles Bout At STARDOM in Fuji

The talented STARDOM rookie Kikyo Furusawa made her pro-wresting debut back on May 21st 2025 and has been highly touted as a future star for the promotion.

On Feb. 15th, Furusawa faced a huge test as she stepped into the ring with one of the top superstars within STARDOM in the form of Starlight Kid. Furusawa had an opportunity to show her hometown crowd in Fuji how far she has grown as a competitor since her debut nearly a year ago.

Starlight Kid did not hold back at all against her less experienced opponent and I believe that’s exactly what Furusawa wanted as she is looking to improve as a pro-wrestler.

Furusawa gave a magnificently valiant effort and employed numerous leglocks in an attempt to win the bout. Midway through the match, Furusawa seemingly injured her leg but did not give up the fight. The crowd in Fuji appreciated the incredible effort hometown rookie Furusawa was exhibiting throughout the bout as they began chanting her name in approval.

The match came to an end at the 13:14 after Starlight Kid forced Furusawa to tap out to her Kokko Kyakusatsu submission finisher. After the bout, Starlight Kid had a few words for Furusawa before she left the ring. Furusawa thanked Starlight Kid for the match and wresting her in her hometown of Fuji.

After the event, Starlight Kid took to x and praised the performance of Kikyo Furusawa, indicating that she will keep an eye on the growth of the rookie.
