Starlight Kid Thanks Her Fans and Vows to Never Give Up After Loss To World of STARDOM Champion Saya Kamitani

On Feb. 7th, STARDOM held it’s STARDOM SUPREME FIGHT IN OSAKA 2026 event at the Osaka Edion Arena.

The main event was a highly anticipated championship bout as the World of STARDOM Champion Saya Kamitani put her title on the line against Starlight Kid.

Kamitani and Starlight Kid engaged in a battle that has been described as being a spectacular match. Despite her incredible effort, Starlight Kid fell in defeat to Kamitani following an Avalanche Star Crusher.

Following her loss, a disappointed Starlight Kid took to X and released a number of statements.

Starlight Kid indicated that she fought with all her might but still fell in defeat. She promised to stand in front of Kamitani once again.

In addition, Starlight Kid thanked her fans and vowed to be back in her pursuit of STARDOM’s coveted Red Belt as well as explaining her new costume.

From Starlight Kid:

“Even though an accident happened to Kamitani, I fought with all my might until the very end today. But I still couldn’t beat Kamitani. I was made to keenly feel the weight of the red belt. But now that I’ve made her say, “I’ll put this belt on the line again”, I’ll definitely come back to stand in front of Kamitani again. Just wait for me, Kamitani!”

From Starlight Kid:

“Thank you so much for all the support yesterday. Even though I still couldn’t win, I never give up on anything!! I’ll definitely be back on that stage again. Yesterday I wore the White Tiger SLK. New costume. The red, which represents spirit and determination, is also part of the mask, hair color, and costume.”

Starlight Kid may have failed in this attempt to become the World of STARDOM champion but it’s a certainty that she will bounce back and vigorously continue her pursuit of the STARDOM Red Belt.
