The All Japan Pro-Wrestling EXCITE SERIES 2026 tour rolled into Shin-Kiba 1st ring in Tokyo on Feb. 7th as a sold out crowd was on hand for the event.
The featured bout was a preliminary between AJPW Triple Crown Champion Kento Miyahara and his Feb. 23rd challenger Jun Saito. Miyahara teamed with Ryuki Honda & Ryo Inoue as they faced Saito, Naruki Doi & Senor Saito in six man action.
Miyahara and Saito started off the match to give the fans a preview of their championship bout on Feb. 23rd. In this encounter both were evenly matched and neither gained a clear advantage over the other.

In the end it was Jun Saito prevailing as he was able to put away Ryo Inoue after hitting his Psycho Break finisher to win the bout for his team. Saito sent a message to Miyahara by leading his team to victory and has definitely gained momentum ahead of the Feb. 23rd showdown between the two. Miyahara and Saito engaged in a verbal battle following the bout.

During his backstage post-match interview, here is what Saito had to say:

In the co-featured match, the AJPW Tag Team Champions Ren Ayabe & Talos teamed with Yuma Anzai to defeat Hideki Suzuki, Daisuke Sekimoto & Kengo Mashimo. Ayabe pinned Suzuki following his Death Roulette finisher.
Ayabe & Talos will be defending the AJPW Tag Team Titles on Feb. 23rd against Suzuki & Suwama. Ayabe pinning Suzuki in the six man bout was a massive statement made by the champions and swung the momentum solely in their favor ahead of the upcoming tag team title bout.
