New Japan Pro-Wrestling superstar Shingo Takagi will miss a few weeks of action due to an injury as announced today on the NJPW website.
It was confirmed that Takagi suffered an injury to his left ribcage and torso. NJPW indicated that the injury occurred on the Jan. 19th & 20th events at Korakuen Hall.
Due to the injury, Takagi will miss the next ten NJPW events which is the remainder of the Road to the New Beginning tour. Takagi is expected to return to action at the Feb. 11th New Beginning in Osaka event.
NJPW apologized to the fans who will now not see Shingo Takagi in action at the rest of the Road to the New Beginning tour.
Last week, Takagi announced his marriage to STARDOM superstar Natsupoi.
