Konosuke Takeshita to Team with Yuka Sakazaki at TJPW GRAND PRINCESS 2026

TJPW have announced another big name set to compete at GRAND PRINCESS, former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, Konosuke Takeshita. Takeshita will team with his wife and TJPW icon, Yuka Sakazaki.

Takeshita and Sakazaki’s opponents are yet to be announced. So far, the only other match announced for GRAND PRINCESS 2026 is Miu Watanabe making a defence of the Princess of Princess Championship.

Takeshita and Sakazaki announced their marriage last year. The couple have only tagged twice before, first in a 10-person tag in DDT in 2019, and then at the Tokyo Game Show to help promote the AEW: Fight Forever video game in 2022. Takeshita has appeared in co-promoted shows with TJPW, but GRAND PRINCESS will mark his first fully-fledged appearance in the promotion.

TJPW GRAND PRINCESS 2026 will take place in the Ryogoku Kokugikan on March 29th. Other names confirmed to compete include Sareee, Léi Yǐng Lee, Aja Kong and Anreza Giant Panda.
