Bozilla & Akira Kurogane And Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara Advance To 15th Goddesses of STARDOM Tag League Semifinals

The 15th Goddesses of STARDOM Tag League, which started on Nov. 7th with 16 participating teams, is down to 4 tag teams and one final event set for Nov. 30th to determine who will raise the winners trophies.

On Nov. 29th, two quarterfinal matches took place at a sold out Osaka Edion Arena #2. The first quarterfinal bout saw Bozilla & Akira Kurogane taking on Sareee & Miku Kanae. The two teams went to war which kept the 959 fans at the Osaka Edion Arena on the edge of their seats. With numerous near falls occurring throughout the bout, it could have gone either way.

In the end, it was Kurogane who pinned Kanae with a Half Hatch Suplex Hold to send her and Bozilla into the semifinals. Kurogane who had been looking for acceptance from Bozilla offered her a handshake following the victory but got a welcoming hug instead.

In the other quarterfinal match, Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara faced Saya Iida & Bea Priestley. Originally it was supposed to be Syuri & Saki Kashima facing Sakura & Kurara but an injury to Kashima opened the door for Iida & Priestley to take the place of Syuri & Kashima.

Sakura & Kurara proved why they are the current New Blood Tag Team Champions as they defeated Iida & Priestley to move on to the semifinals.

The semifinals and finals of the are set for Nov. 30th at the Hamamatsu City General Industrial Exhibition Hall and the bouts are as follows:

• Goddesses of STARDOM Tag League – Semifinal: Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara vs. Megan Bayne & HANAKO
  
• Goddesses of STARDOM Tag League – Semifinal: Natsuko Tora & Ruaka vs. Bozilla & Akira Kurogane
• Goddesses of STARDOM Tag League – Final: TBD vs. TBD

• HANAKO, Waka Tsukiyama & Rian defeated Ami Sohrei, Lady C & Ranna Yagami (10:33) after a Hanaguruma by Rian against Yagami.
