Xyon & Oddyssey and Kento Miyahara & Davey Boy Smith Jr Continue Winning Ways At AJPW “REAL WORLD TAG LEAGUE 2025”

The second night of the AJPW “REAL WORLD TAG LEAGUE 2025” took place on Nov. 23rd at Kira Messe Numazu. There were 519 fans in attendance to witness the next round of A and B Block tournament matches.

The main event featured a B Block bout between the current AJPW World Tag Team Champions Xyon & Oddyssey as they took on Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO. Both teams were victorious on the Nov. 22 opening night of the tournament and had hoped to ride a wave of momentum into this match-up. In the end, it was a Xyon diving headbutt onto HAYATO that secured the win for the him and Oddyssey. The victory gave the champions their second win and fourth point as they remain undefeated in the REAL WORLD TAG LEAGUE 2025.

In other action, one of the teams that are favorites to win the tournament, Kento Miyahara & Davey Boy Smith Jr. faced the team of Dragon Gate star Takashi & Kuroshio TOKYO Japan. Miyahara & Smith Jr. were looking for their second straight victory in the tournament and very nearly lost the match via count out.

During the course of the bout, the action spilled to the outside of the ring. Kuroshio and Takashi had tied Smith Jr’s arm to the metal structure surrounding the entrance. Miyahara was able to free Smith Jr. just in time to beat the count back to the ring. Miyahara & Smith Jr. were able to prevail following a diving headbutt by Smith Jr. to Takashi. The win gave Miyahara & Smith jr. their fourth point as they also remained undefeated in the tournament.

• Jun Saito, Ryuki Honda & MUSASHI defeated Yuma Aoyagi, Hideki Suzuki & Ryo Inoue (14:28) after a jackhammer from Saito against Inoue.
• Real World Tag League – Block A: Ren Ayabe & Talos [4] defeated Hokuto Omori & Kuma Arashi [0] (15:42) after a double chokeslam by Ayabe against Omori.
• Real World Tag League – Block A: Go Shiozaki & Shotaro Ashino [4] defeated Dan Tamura & Hikaru Sato [0] (10:44) after a Strong Arm Lariat by Shiozaki against Sato.
• Real World Tag League Block B: Kento Miyahara & Davey Boy Smith Jr. [4] defeated Takashi Dragon Gate & Kuroshio TOKYO Japan [0] (12:07) after a diving headbutt by Smith against Takashi.
• Real World Tag League – Block B: Xyon & Oddyssey [4] defeated Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO [2] (14:45) after a diving headbutt by Xyon against HAYATO.
