AJPW REAL WORLD TAG LEAGUE 2025 Kicks Off At Packed Korakuen Hall

The All Japan Pro-Wrestling REAL WORLD TAG LEAGUE 2025 got underway on Nov. 22 as 1,327 fans filled Korakuen Hall to witness the annual event. All twelve participating teams took part in the pre-show ceremonies before the prestigious tournament began with it’s opening match.

The current AJPW World Tag Team champions Xyon & Oddyssey faced the team of Kuroshio Tokyo Japan & Dragon Gate star Takashi in a B Block match-up that kicked off the 2025 AJPW REAL WORLD TAG LEAGUE. The champions made short work of their opponents as they ended the bout in under six minutes after Xyon hit Kuroshio with a diving headbutt.

The main event saw the Aoyagi brothers on opposite sides as Yuma Aoyagi & Yuma Anzai faced Atsuki Aoyagi and his partner Rising HAYATO. In a thrilling bout that saw terrific back and forth action from both teams, it was the younger Aoyagi that reigned supreme on this night.

Atsuki Aoyagi pinned his brother Yuma at the 26:03 mark after connecting with a Firebird Splash.

In other action, Kento Miyahara & Davey Boy Smith Jr. defeated Ryuki Honda & Naoya Nomura in a B Block tournament bout.

• Real World Tag League Block B: Kento Miyahara & Davey Boy Smith Jr. [2] defeat Ryuki Honda & Naoya Nomura [0] (14:39) after a shutdown of Suplex Hold by Miyahara against Honda.
• Real World Tag League Block B: Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO [2] defeat Yuma Aoyagi & Yuma Anzai [0] (26:03) after a Firebird Splash by Atsuki against Yuma Aoyagi.
