Natsupoi Reveals Her Goal Is To Crush Sareee

On Nov. 10th, Sareee held her “SAREEE-ISM CHAPTER IX” event at the sold out Shinjuku FACE.

In the main event, Sareee teamed with Suzu Suzuki as they defeated Natsupoi & Chihiro Hashimoto. Sareee pinned Natsupoi following a wrist-clutch Uranage to secure the victory for her team.

Following the match, Sareee and Natsupoi engaged in an in-ring verbal exchange. Natsupoi told Sareee that for her it’s not about winning a championship belt but crushing Sareee is her goal. Sareee shot back by telling Natsupoi that she will never surpass her.

From Sareee:

“I realized it again today. You are amazing. Not just the always cheerful and fun Natsupoi, but the serious Natsupoi is cool too. So then, why don’t you have more confidence? What did you think after fighting today?”

From Natsupoi:

“Belonging to a promotion and continuing to run at the top is incredibly painful. But, to keep shining at the top, I fought with the company and worked hard every day. Yet, what I’ve achieved through that effort gets dismissed with the words ‘she’s just being pushed by the company’… I don’t even know what I’m struggling with anymore. The truth is, I want to keep having fights like this that set my soul on fire! I realized again today: I’m going to crush Sareee. For me, it’s not about the Red Belt, or the White Belt, or the IWGP Women’s Championship; crushing Sareee is what I feel has the most value. So until then, bye-poi!”

From Sareee:

“I understand that feeling painfully well, Natsupoi. But since I stepped into this ring, since we’re facing each other like this now, I’ve discarded all those soft feelings. If you’re frustrated, then try to catch up to me quickly. But I’ll never let you surpass me.”

During her backstage post-match interview, Natsupoi reiterated her goal is to crush Sareee.

From Natsupoi:

“The things I’m struggling with and worrying about right now, while fighting today, really made me realize how small and insignificant they really are. Just as I declared to Sareee today, I declare it here again: I’m going to crush Sareee. That’s more valuable to me than any belt. So, I’ve already decided. I’m going to crush Sareee. I don’t know about surpassing her or anything like that, but for now, I’m going to crush her. I used to think that I couldn’t face Sareee unless I had certain results—like winning the 5★STAR or taking the Red Belt. But today, I was reminded once again that my strength lies in my unfounded confidence. I felt so many things in the battle of the strongest today, and I think today is a new starting point, so I’m going to crush Sareee. We’re best friends outside the ring, though. Bye-Poi!”

It appears that at some point in the near future, we are going to see Sareee give Natsupoi an opportunity to fulfill her goal and try and surpass her in a singles match. While her newfound confidence is great to see, crushing Sareee will not be an easy task for Natsupoi.

Sareee is not one to back away from a challenge and all that is left is for Sareee to grant Natsupoi a singles bout and let her have an opportunity for fulfill her goal. This could actually could be the perfect main event for the next SAREEE-ISM event or a featured bout for STARDOM QUEEN DREAMDOM 2025. Let’s make it happen.
