The latest chapter in the ongoing war of words between IWGP Women’s Champion Sareee and World of STARDOM Titleholder took place yesterday as the two went at it yet again on X.
The exchange began when Kamitani commented on a recent interview Sareee did with Tokyo Sports. Sareee told Kamitani if she wants to fight, don’t get scared and run away. Kamitani responded by telling Sareee that she should “run away” from a potential confrontation between the two stars.
This set off a heated verbal exchange between the two which seems to be a common occurrence on social media over the past few months.
Here is the exchange between Sareee and Kamitani:
From Sareee:
“Don’t go acting like you’re the top of the wrestling world when all you do is run away. In the end, you’re just scared to fight me as I am now.”
From Saya Kamitani:
“It’s not that I’m running away. This whole thing started when you offered to have me on Sareee-ISM, and I’ve never once said that I wanted to fight you now. Everything you say makes no sense, I can’t understand it at all.
Your wrestling is selfish and self-indulgent. Are you really satisfied with that? Even if I fought you, someone I can’t even have a conversation with through wrestling, all I’d get are burns. It’s about time you understood that.”
From Sareee:
“The moment you got all worked up, you played right into my hands. Sareee-ISM? How long ago was that? Bringing it up now is just too convenient and pathetic. Your words and actions are all over the place—haven’t you realized that yet? If you’re afraid of getting burned, you should’ve just kept quiet from the start. Man, is that what a STARDOM champion looks like?”
From Saya Kamitani:
“I’m replying to you because I see right through you trying to cherry-pick the good parts. Ever since my debut I’ve never wavered— I’ve been STARDOM all the way, with the same passion to spread pro wrestling. I’m not like you, wandering all over various promotions, parading around with ‘Inoki this, Crush Gals that.’ So spare me. Anyway, I want to focus on my match with AZM, I’m genuinely busy, and I don’t have time to deal with you! Well, if you want to get involved with me so badly, come back once you’ve got the kind of charm worthy of Saya-sama. 😛🖤 Bye-poi!”
While the verbal battles between Sareee and Kamitani have been entertaining, it’s time for negotiations to begin for the two best Joshi Puroresu competitors to face off inside the ring.
If Kamitani is still the World of STARDOM champion after her Sept. 23rd match AZM, then its time to bring these two together for the biggest Joshi Puroresu match in quite some time.
The perfect place for a Kamitani vs Sareee showdown would be STARDOM DREAM QUEENDOM 2025 on Dec.29th at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo.
I believe the majority of the fans share my sentiment when I say, let’s make this happen.
