On Sept. 14th, Big Japan Pro-Wrestling held its latest event at Korakeun Hall with over 600 fans in attendance.
The featured bout saw the current BJW World Strong Heavyweight Champion Daichi Hashimoto make his third defense against the tough challenge of Shuji Ishikawa. Ishikawa was looking to regain the title he last held over 10 years ago.
Hashimoto and Ishikawa waged war against each other that left the champion bleeding very badly. Both were relentless in their attacks as the crowd witnessed hard hitting action between the two warriors.
In the end, Hashimoto was able to submit Ishikawa with an armlock to emerge victorious and retain his BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship.
Following the match, a bloody and battered Hashimoto remained in the ring and nominated So Daimonji as his next challenger. Daimonji came to the ring and confronted Hashimoto. The two will meet Oct. 13 in Sapporo.
In other action, Kosuke Sato defeated Isami Kodaka to retain his BJW Jr. Heavyweight Title. This was Sato’s second successful defense.
